Our cat, Johanna, is about 15 years old. Still feisty. She wants to be loved on her terms for sure. She hisses and lunges at Karen, but will only sit in her lap, not mine. Does not hiss or lunge at me, but lasts about 5 seconds in my lap.
Cats.
I prefer the independant love of a cat to the dependant love of a dog.

In fact, I’m more in love with her now, than when first married. I know her more and can appreciate her entire self more now with those 27 years experience.
