Green Car Congress

Green Car Congress site looks like an informative site on emerging technologies in automotive efficient designs.

I love the Toyota approach with their Hybrid electric-gas system found on their Prius cars. Soon to be found in the Highlander and a super fast sports car.

Maybe my next car will get 70 MPG. Wouldn’t that be nice.

bookofjoe

bookofjoe is a wonderful site.

A beautiful minimalist design where words have time to soak in.

Joe is the “world’s only blogging anesthesiologist.”

His observations have captivated me for a while.

Give bookofjoe a whirl.

You just might be captivated too.

Computergeeks is a great place to find new and refurbished or used computer equipment. I’ve purchased a laptop for my wife from them and many other items to my total satisfaction. Give them a try if you want to save some money.

Reach out and Skype Someone!

SkypeSkype is a great way to keep in touch for less. Download the software, put on your headset, plug into your computer and you can talk from one Skype-connected computer to another for free. Yes, I said Free. If you want to call a regular phone or a cell phone, you can upload your Skype account with money and call out for about 2 cents per minute. I got interested for my son and his friends at various colleges. Keeps down the cell bills. Self preservation on my part. I love it myself! Give it a whirl.
